To compliment a recent move of the National Park Service Headquarters offices into their brand new facility on Eye Street, Color-Ad was approached to create graphics for this multistoried building, including the entry way of the Visitor's Center on the first floor.
Large Format Graphics
Each of the graphics depicted different National Parks across the nation. The busy elevator corridors on every floor were each graced with oversized, high resolution digital print representations of a particular park. Added to the interior foyers were back-lit, glass mounted, oversized color transparencies highlighting other parks. The biggest visual impact however, is the main entrance which greets each visitor and staff with oversized transparent grayscale historical Park images including Yosemite NP and Rocky Mountain NP, the infamous General Grant giant Sequoia tree, Wheeling Suspension Bridge, Ritter Ranch Barn, & the Statue of Liberty.
