This museum conveys richness and quiet solemnity in a simple fashion; worthy of the father of our country. This museum primarily consists of casings to house personal objects once belonging to George Washington and his family.
The eloquent look of this museum was achieved through custom built cases that were painted and then lined with deep colored suede fabric. Silk-screened panels were used for item identification while each casing provided security, built in preservation mechanisms and just the right lighting to announce the internal subject area.
