Color-Ad was able to achieve the Witness to War
exhibit through interpretive audio/visual programming and LED lighting which gives the visitor the you are there
feel. The exhibit displays archeological material recovered at the site of the September 1814 bombardment. The main effort was to highlight four human stories of the defenders of Fort McHenry by interactive initiation and continuous play of the sound and lighting program which directs the visitor's attention from British ships hovering in the background mural to the large individual cut-to-shape freestanding figures indicative of their particular story on the Fort.
This permanent display details the long history of the Fort by including video screens, enormous relic cases containing delicately mounted artifacts along with the recreation of an archeological dig, digital graphic photo panels and an interactive LED map.
