Abbott Laboratories Teams with Color-Ad to Recreate History

Chicago, Illinois - Summer 2005

More than a century ago, 30-year-old Wallace C. Abbott, M.D., began the production and distribution of Pharmaceutical supplies. From a small operation based above Doctor Abbott's Victorian Home, Abbott Laboratories has evolved into one of the world's leading health care companies.

Color-Ad has recently completed the production of an exhibition that will visually recreate the historical timeline of this successful company. Headquartered in Chicago, the original Abbott Home has been reconstructed (based upon the original circa 1860's floor plans) to house this new Corporate Museum.

This permanent exibition consists of high resolution digital graphics, Artifact casework designed to replicate “Victorian” furniture, interactive audio and visual displays, and reconstructions of room interiors based upon archival references of the original structure.
