Interior Signage Package for the University Of Virginia's BRAND NEW Multipurpose John Paul Jones Arena

The University Of Virginia is building a new multipurpose arena at their Charlottesville location. This facility, in addition to hosting men's and lady's basketball games, would also house weight rooms, practice courts, and state-of-the-art coaches and players rooms.

This acoustically optimized Arena will boast huge video screens and has a capacity of 15,000 with a parking facility for 1500 cars. UVA proposes to use this Arena for hosting other events as well, such as travel shows, seminars, and concerts.

Targeted to unveil for the 2006-2007 season, Color-Ad has been awarded the job for the complete signage requirements for this new Arena. The various sign types that will be fabricated and installed include Pageantry Signs such as Flags, Banners and Totem Panels. In addition, the Arena and Garage/Parking Lot signage would comprise a wide variety including Arena ID Signs, Way-finding, Directional Signs, Room ID signs, Amenities Signs, and Emergency Signs, etc. Given the oversized venue, challenging installation procedures will be accomplished at heights up to 120 feet.
